All I would say is that Sygate is better than Zonealarm, Defrag your Machine
and winlog is this http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/winlog/0 -
There is information about this here:
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/winlog/
I would suggest an online virus scan like:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
Click on "Free online virus scan" top right.
If this comes back clear of viruses, then you either have a corrupt winlog.exe file or you may have a Firewall or other program preventing it from running.0 -
Unless you use Salfield Personal Security tool to set parental controls on your computer. It would seem that winlog.exe is there as part of a virus.
Zonealarm is working perfectly for you. It is asking for your permission whether to allow this program access to the net. This is why software firewalls are good to have. They don't only stop access into your computer. They control access out of your computer. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
