Buyer begging for feedback

Received 3 emails from somebody within 2 weeks asking why I'm not leaving her/him feedback. With the new feedback system I don't see a point for sellers in leaving feedback, do I tell her/him that you reckon?

Have they left feedback? if they have its safe enough to say since ebay's ridiculous changes, feedback is now null an void in our eyes now, sorry.

Depends I suppose whether he has left you feedback as you dont wish to annoy buyers with these new stupid rules. If he has I would just remind him that feedback is not compulsory. However obviously he enjoys getting positive feedback so if he has been a good buyer just take the time to leave +ve.

Thanks guys. She/he did leave feedback. Just answered I don't support new feedback changes therefore decided to abstain from leaving feedback althogether.

It's not your buyers fault Ebay have made changes; if th transaction was successful, surely you owe it the buyer to reciprocate, particularly as it's obviously important to them?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

just ignore them, they shouldn't be such a pain.

I know and understand how you feel. I trade on Amazon so never leave buyers feedback.

However you are running the risk of a neg on ebay. Why not just leave feedback for those that have been nice enough to leave you a positive.

I have to say that, given the current climate on eBay, it is very annoying when I buy something, pay immediately, leave the seller positive feedback once I receive the item, and they don't bother leaving me any. It makes me think twice before buying from them again.
  • i cant think of a good reason why you wouldn't?

If everyone thought like you then the system would grind to a halt... Let me guess, you also cancel bids from those with zero feedback dont ya! lol

    (rhetorical question!)

As a low volume private seller I respect my buyers' custom too much not to leave positive feedback when it is due, and hope for the same in return.

i understand you view however that message could just bait a buyert into using a disposable account to ruin your FB/auctions
might have been better to just leave a + with single letter message or the like
