I have a spare afternoon in London this Thursday, whilst I doubt it, does anyone know if there are any matinees on anywhere in the West End or any other musical entertainment?
Thanks

            Colmil,
I know we went to a matinee several weeks ago, but depends on what is actually on and what you want to see.
look on the TKTS website. They deal in cut price tickets and will show what Matinees are on and what the ticket prices are.
You can't buy the tickets online but it just means getting to Leicester Square to buy.
We use them regularly on Saturdays. They advertise the ticket prices on display screens next to the building and at least then you know exactly what you have to pay, unlike the smaller so-called cut price booths around the area. Last Saturday Brief Encounter matinee ( I know it was the OH choice), and Spamalot evening performance...total cost £104.
The TKTS booth is at the bottom of Leicester Square next to the smaller Odeon. There is usually one queue for matinees and a seperate one for the evening shows, although probably because of West End Live the two queues were using the same windows.
 Have a good trip
