Removing stains from unvarnished wood

Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to removed miscellaneous stains (ribena etc) from wood that has been treated with Teak Oil, but is unvarnished.
I don't want to resort to sanding stains out unless I really have to.
I do have some "Bar Keepers Friend" in the cupboard - it doesn't specifically say whether you can use on wood, bur neither does it say you can't.
Any suggestions welcomed please?
Many thanks
