H.O.T (Helen Of Troy) UK Straightener Makers

Helen Of Troy (HOT UK) make all of the UKs straightening irons for the Uk market.

When my pair of Vidal Sassoon Pro Elite Cream 25mm irons broke down a month after I got them. I decided since I hadn't got the receipt anymore that I should leave my irons back to HOT UK.

Found their consumer email address for their customer services on their site. Phoned for advice on how to send them back, then posted the irons my recorded mail with details inside.

Oh boy i wish I hadn't done it now.

It's now 6 weeks later.

I quote:

"You didnt send us your details in the box, we only got your details over a week later when you emailed." Well someone must have lost my details. Customer Service 'NO NO' part one. During none of the emails I sent during this time to see what was happening did they tell me they HADNT got my details.

"You emailed us via the Proctor & Gamble website, therefore they take a while to contact us." Well, no, lies. I emailed via a clickable link on the HOT UK website especially for non-commercial customers. From the 1st to the last.

"We sent them out on the 11th. Should take 14days." Well the 25th has come and gone.

Another email from a different part of the Customer Services department: "They were dispatched on the 17th." (Today is the 1st of July and 14 days hasnt really passed) yet they said they must be lost and would send me out another pair.

Oooohhh....another 2 weeks to wait for irons they've lied to me 4 times over.

I can even buy another brnad of irons in contempt of them instead if Vidal Sassoon, because they make 90% of all the other brands irons. Tsk!!!
