quick question about Equifax

I have some credit card searches on my Equifax report due to come off this month (searches were 12/04 & 23/04). (i s'pose it will be the same for my Experian report too  )

My query is....do they automatically come off 24 hrs after that day as systems are updated, or do they do them all once a month?

TIA :D

    Is "split-second" timing that important?

If it is, my best offer would be to send for your £2 reports 2 days after the anniversary.

Equifax might know - why not ring them?
  • As far as I know, the searches will still show up to a year on equifax and experian (that's what their websites say) but a lender will be looking at searches within a 6 month period.
