I don't know if any instructions were left with first paypal payment as I never looked at it. Maybe that's what got her goat. I've a feeling she's a lot of goat to get.
I always expect people to get in touch via ebay so will have to check paypal receipts too now I suppose.
Lol maybe same one.
It strikes me buyers have sellers over a barrel since new F/B and can dictate own terms:mad: and god help you if you don't follow through!
As a seller we have no re dress apart from blocking future bids (even then they could use another acc)
If we open a NPB dispute as long as they respond with "My mothers a donkey" or some such they can leave the undeserved neg/neut.
INR is sellers fault not RM's even with POP and giving a full refund some nice buyer will still feel it deserves a neg/ neut
It's a no win situation.0 -

To be fair I do normally send a "thank you for paying" email and an "I have posted your item" email but for some reason I do take the hump slightly at being asked for it. I find keeping the buyer updated saves on the "where's my item?" emails especially if the buyer is only paying for 2nd Class post.
When I buy I do like a seller to keep me updated, so it works both ways. Maybe the buyers we've all got at the moment have had to suffer poor communication from other sellers recently so are hoping for better this time.0 -
I list all my items to be sent recorded now just incase the odd buyer says they have not received it....dont want to leave anything to chance anymore.0

I've had a buyer ask me to ensure that my item is well packed and to email him when I have posted it.
As it is a part from a computer I was just going to force it into a brown evelope and stick a couple of 1st class stamps on and an address label and hope for the best - I'm glad he made me re-think!
It's not like either of us will want it to arrive crushed...
Glad you package PC bits properly. I have bought a lot of PC parts from Ebay sellers and some of them do just pop it into a plain brown envelope. :eek:0 -

Unbelievable!
I think I tend to be ultra paranoid about things getting damaged or opened in the post but I don't think there's any point trying to save the buyer £2 on postage by keeping the weight down to a minimum if it puts the item at risk.
I am wondering if I got asked to ensure it was well packed because other people are selling similar items with £10 postage, and mine is only around £5-£6 1st Class Recorded. Perhaps he thought I was going to cut corners, it's just that I'm not greedy or too lazy to look up the correct postage!0
