Hi Folks.
I have a caravan where the sticky decals (stripes) down each side have been peeled away & left a nasty stubborn sticky residue that i'm struggling to remove. I've tried WD40 (friend recommended) & white spirit with little success.
Can anyone suggest an alternative please ??

I've had good success with Sticky Stuff Remover. I bought mine from the supermarket to get the stickers off our toilet cisterns but it works on all sorts of stuff and is great for getting off the glue residue left behind on stuff.
I'm not certain it can be used on plastic but if you google 'sticky stuff remover' you'll find a few brands. I know that the one that Lakeland sells was recommended to me but we didn't have a Lakeland nearby and I was too tight to pay the postage for one item.0 -
Try warming it up with a hairdryer, it should come off quite easily then.0

Try uPVC solvent cleaner.
Many moons ago i used to build caravans for a living. At the end of the production line was the "degreasing" shop where the vans were hand cleaned before going outside for a good clean with soapy water. The degreasing fluid smelt like paraffin, not sure what it was but solvent cleaner should do the job as well.0
