Thanks for the suggestions kit, the upright does have shelf fronts & the chest lid is quite thick (what it's made of is hard to fathom).
As Cardew points out my RoI on a new Liebherr is hard to justify, methinks I'll scrap the chest & reduce freezer capacity. I may need to visit the supermarket one additional time per month as a result (extra £4 in petrol).Time is a concept of relativity, yet as a concept, relativity is timeless.0 -
Mine arrived yesterday, not bad for £8 +P+P. Plugged the fridge in through it and will monitor for 24 hours then swap to freezer. Will then work my way around the house, annoying Mrs Phlik as I go :rotfl: .

My fridge/freezer in the garage appears to be costing 10p per day, or £35 per year to run. Not brilliant but it's worth it as it contains lots of food picked up from the reduced shelf of my local Asda and stuck in there for a later time, most of which was reduced by at least 80%!Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0
