Unique Holiday - Stay in a converted train

I'm off on holiday in two weeks time to stay near York in a converted train carriage. I thought I would share this idea with other MSE's as the rental for a week is only £260 (£120 in winter!). You can also book for a couple of nights or a mid week break or stay for two weeks, it seems very flexible.
At the moment they have an offer on where you get a free £20 hamper if you book before 31/07/08 for a week taken in Sept/Oct.
This is a brand new company and I reckon next year once they are a bit more established their prices could definately be higher. So grab a bargain holiday, I did!

Not really that cheap.
Perhaps one for the train enthusiasts or children, but wouldn't the novelty might wear off after a bit.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
It looks lovely - I hope you have a great time x0

I spent nearly two weeks trying to find an affordable York weekly holiday and all the rest were easily £200+ more expensive. It sleeps four so this works out at £9 pppn!!! Or £65 pppwk!! That is cheap, nearly as cheap as camping!
I reckon it just about beats travelodge prices and don't forget its got self catering facilities which keeps the price of meals down too.
I'm getting excited about my holiday now!!!0
