Anti Virus 2009

My friend has just called me in a panic as somehow anti virus 2009 has downloaded it self on to her pc. Now from what i can see on google this is spyware but avg spyware isnt picking it up. Can anyone help me about how to remove it safely without damaging the computer. I have told her to disconnect form the internet just incase.

I've been plagued with the same cursed AV2009 that my free AVG let through from somewhere, but it sure is some powerful package to get rid of. I am extremely grateful to ZINXYX for the link, which after a slow scan eventually got rid of the bandit!

Has she updated her "definitions" (or whatever AVG call them?Now from what i can see on google this is spyware but avg spyware isnt picking it up.
I've just spent ages restoring a friend's computer, having done so previously about a year ago. Back then I installed SuperAntiSpyware and an anti-virus program and neither of them picked up anything malicious as he hadn't updated the definitions.
