    Hi
Dowload Superantispywre ffrom here http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html and perform a full scan of your pc should sort it out.
    By the way its free.

  • I've been plagued with the same cursed AV2009 that my free AVG let through from somewhere, but it sure is some powerful package to get rid of. I am extremely grateful to ZINXYX for the link, which after a slow scan eventually got rid of the bandit!

I also concur with the sign-off note in that I am no longer condemned either!

Has she updated her "definitions" (or whatever AVG call them?

I've just spent ages restoring a friend's computer, having done so previously about a year ago. Back then I installed SuperAntiSpyware and an anti-virus program and neither of them picked up anything malicious as he hadn't updated the definitions. As soon as I did this, SAS picked up four Trojans, and the Anti-Virus program another couple of dodgy items.
