Not such a happy bunny today..... all the peeps I hang with at uni...had their results yesterday and have passed....(extended science)
I haven't got any results yet.
So I am assuming I will have to re-take an exam......most probably MATHS:eek: as I never passed the previous 2 in class assessments for it .
Anyone else in the same boat?

Don't think the worst just yet! It could be that yours has been selected for 2nd marking by the exam board and theirs wasn't. If it's any comfort, I won't find out officially if I've passed my degree until september now and the wait is terrifying!
Seriously though, don't panic and don't think the worst. I'm sure you've done absolutely fine!

Yes - some work of all classes is usually selected for second (or third, depending on the norm at the uni) marking, on a fairly random basis. Work on the borderline between two classes is often selected for this, as - at some universities - is work which is 1st class or which fails.
In other words - don't assume the worst
Can you ask your tutor about what's going on? 0 -
I haven't had anything through yet and almost all my friends have been told their final degree classifcations...it's really bugging me that I don't know mine, but I assume everythings different.
Like others have said yours may have been sent off for moderation, I know last term quite a lot of my work did, due to the grades I had so don't panic...I'm sure everything will be fine...that's what I keep telling myself about mine anyway..Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!0 -
I really wouldn't worry, this happened to me last year. All my coursemates got their results and i got mine 4 days later (and i didnt fail). University doesnt seem to operate in the same way as schools and colleges - they dont have a set policy that exam results have to be issued on the same day.
So dont panic yet and im sure you have done just fine!

Exactly! My boyfriend found out his degree classification at the start of may, whereas for my course, I don't find out if I've passed last semester until July. Not sure when after that we get our classification though! I just know that I won't find out until sept as I have to re-submit an essay.0
