Picked some stuff that was ready in garden and some green tomatoes to make chutney with, the blackberries are only just starting to ripen still lots of them green and red but picked the black ones. These are from a bramble that invaded the garden from next door, so I just made it feel welcome:D
have picked my only 4 courgettes, most of my courgette plants diedbut have cucumbers doing okay;).
Have not had time to check out the other blackberry places but will go tomorrow definately.
have been for a swim though and enjoyed that so now ready to go and create stuff in the kitchen:rolleyes: OH is at work and DD out with boyfriend (the one who likes horses;) ) so I can potter uninterrupted:j.0 -

Hi everyone, back from my job interview in Derry but will have to wait until next week until I know. Not too optimistic about getting the job as they had 2 days of interviews at only half an hour per person... and the pesron in before me studied at uni there and knew the interview panel, so if they have many 'locals' I don't think I stand much chance.
Met bf's mum and sister, they were really nice :-) Bf has been acting very weird since I got back though :-( Supposed to be coming over for dinner tonight as housemates were all out, planned an evening alone for weeks, but he went to Southampton to look at a scooter with a friend instead. Have just drunk the wine that I'd bought for us to have tonight :-(Live on £11k in 20110 -

Only good bit of news is I did my tax return earlier (when i was a bit more sober) and I'm owed £185 :-) I expected to owe then money so that's a nice surprise.
Off shopping in the Cotwolds tomorrow with housemate, will try not to spend it all in advance.Live on £11k in 20110 -

Glad that Bf's family turned out to be lovely:D can't have been easy for you turning up to meet them for the first time alone.
Fingers crossed about the job, will you actually take it if you are offered the chance?? or will that depend on Bf and whether he decides to stay or go?
