Whitewing - FOCUS! CONCENTRATE!
- Those shoes would be absolutely hopeless in a crisis! Imagine if you had to sell something quickly to keep the bailiffs (not Bails) from the door or make a quick getaway from some place you didn't want to be... those shoes would never cut it! For starters, they'd only fit one, whereas a car of such value could possibly fit a family of 4 with accompanying suitcases.
- Secondly, the shoes would never fetch much as secondhand items on eBay or eBid in the event OH decided he didn't want to wear them.
- Thirdly, the wedding dress can be saved, sold or adapted into a prom gown in the event any future frugalmite be a girl!
PS: Note to Bails - sorry your kiddies are probably in jail but have some faith. Think of them as little mice that got caught up in a bad experience - you rescued them temporarily and they are still alive and well, albeit in little cages, being looked after until they are well enough to be released back into the wild to fend for themselves safely.
I'm sitting here struggling, feeling ridiculously stressed trying to work out if I can move from ntl, to try an lower my own phone & BB costs but I seem to be trapped. BT are demanding £129 install any BT line and any deal ntl offer only benefit my lodgers who use their cable TV (bills in my name but they pay extra with rent for their tv.). There are just times when I want some one else to sort this sort of thing out.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
evening everyone. It was my graduation today, and it was such a lovely day. Pity it rained, but never mind. Didn't spend a penny either!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Fine thanks,
Just when I thought it would be a quiet night as OH is working and DD out with friends my DS has turned up with his girlfriend to keep me company (and eat everything in fridge:rolleyes: )
Enjoy the rest of your special day, and you will treasure the photos years from now, bet your parents were very proud today:D0 -

Hi, Thanks, I am great!!!
After everything that has happened this week I can finally end that chapter and really move on. I put U2 CD in my car today and have been driving around smiling like silly (DD told me to turn it down but as soon as she got dropped to nursery it went up again).
My [STRIKE]boss[/STRIKE] client sent me an email today and they are going to be needing a lot of work done and as it happens DD will be full time in the nursery for three weeks from the end of the term so it suits me really well. Then I will have two weeks exploring with DD before my college starts and she goes back to pre school and nursery. I am planning on going to places like Longleat and Avon Valley animal park (is there a theme here?) and also taking The Dog for nice walks if the weather allows and take some picnic (sp?) with us.
I have also made finally a plan how to organise my books so trip to this Swedish furniture store for some cheap shelving is needed. This will go into my business costs even I am not so sure that I can actually deduct it in my tax return - need to find out.
Everybody have a great evening!!

Marru - I am also self employed and should think that office furniture is fine, if you can justify it being just for work and have not spent alot on furniture for your home office already? Depends on the nature of your work as well I guess, I am a lurker so just came up for air and to chat about it... but not brave enough to join the challengeMFW #185
