Will this chuck be OK for my SDS drill?

OK, I bought a new drill (gbh 2-18re) and need a chuck adaptor.
Will this one be OK?
The bosch part specified is 1608571062 but doesn't come with the SDS-plus part - to be honest the whole thing confuses the hell out of me, I wish I just bought a bog standard tesco drill!
Seems I bought something that can demolish my house!
Please help an idiot :rotfl: All I want to do is put a small drill bit in to drill into some wood.
Thanks for any help.

if the bosch got a blue colour then you should be a proud owner of a great toy...... if its got a green colour then it sucks... not a profesional one.
the chuck you are showing is the right one.... they all come with sds end so it fits on your new drill....
as soon as you plug the chuck to the new drill then the new drill converts to an old fashioned drill and you can stick bits and tighten them up as you wish.
but dont buy yhte chuck! with 16 punds you can buy a decend set of drill bits and they so easy to fit on the new drill
ask for ''sds drill bits'' either for wood/metal or concrete thats up to you to decide

Now I'm going to ask the reverse question.
Can you use SDS drill bits in non-SDS drills?
If not can you get an adapter to put SDS drill bits on the old style chucks, or even replace the chuck?0
