  • can you not just add the person to your ignore list and that should stop the pm spam ( i think)

    can you not just add the person to your ignore list and that should stop the pm spam ( i think)
    that'll stop them spamming me, but no-one else - but they only sent me one spam PM. it's the fact that they have sat online for over 2 hours PMing half the users on the site (ok, minor exaggeration but still, plenty of people at 1 a minute!).... that's the annoying part!

    I have PMs turned off to avoid this there are too many of these now

    I see they are still busy sending PM's

    Its a shame they cant for new members at least have a option off for sending PMs or at least have a limit

    A complete ban on PM's for new members met resistance because genuine new members who may be under severe stress had to be catered for - but your idea of limiting the number of such PMs initially - to me has merit, and would curb the wholesale and prolonged spam Pm'ing as seemed to have occurred yesterday.

    my spammer was last online at 10.29am....that's a long time to be able send out PMs....

    i guess the increase in spam PMs really shows that they are having to find new ways - at least that's an indication that spamming the main forums isn't working for them.....
