Hi again,
How much are the minimum payments on all your cards / loans? Because it looks like you've got about £600 spare at the mo.
I personally would try to avoid any debt plans if you can afford to make the payments - but it does depend how much interest they are slapping on each month.
I would also second the suggestion about cutting down on food bill. I know kids are difficult, but if you're going to sort out the finances it might be time to get a bit tough...? Just a suggestion, you know them better than me!
Also are you on Quidco and Topcashback? Look especially for insurance renewals.
Oh, and if you're not in contract, check if you could combine TV / phone / broadband services as this can save a lot. Check on the main site for the best deals etc (and always check again for cashback!).
xxDebt at highest Nov '06 £17,822.98
Debt at LBM Nov '07 £14,231.63
DEBT FREE as of 01/01/09 now I have savings!!0 -

unfortunately the infection also spread to my bowles and then i got a chest infection  ..
so as you can see i am going to be off work for a few months. this will finally push us i think into a DMP so i am going to phone the CCCS hopefully tomorrow and get the ball rolling , as i know the basic sick pay will not keep the house running and the family ...
