Credit limit slashed after balance cleared

That's funny, I was about to comment that I too had my credit limit cut almost £200 from 2500£ to £2300something with the Loyds Airmiles duo card, and I check the website just now and it says:
Account balance: £49.02 CR
Available credit: £2,539.00 CR
Credit card limit: £2,500.00
Does this mean I can now go over £2500 up to £2539 without being charged the 12£ penalty? They did that to me in April when I went over 5£... :rolleyes:0
