I have been getting "mail delivery failure" and "mailer daemon" type emails in their hundreds per day.I have found out that its probably someone using my email to send out spam. This is devastating my email service.
I have emailed wanadoo twice with no answer (they claim to get back to you within 24 hrs) I phoned the helpline but the lady's accent I hardly understood.I was told to email Wanadoo's abuse address that deals with email and still I have heard NOTHING!!!
Can anyone advise me on what I can do.I am paying £17.99 per month for this poor service.
Ian.

Try posting a message on the Wanadoo forum at ADSLGuide. For a lot of the ISP boards, you also find that support staff from the company read and answer questions in there. You may also find someone else that has had the same problem as you with this ISP.
It's free to register. Find it HERE

I see that others are having problems sending emails with Wanadoo in this forum. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

my sympathies on the situation. just to confirm though that it's definitely someone spoofing your email address in the 'from' field and not the fact that your pc has been compromised somehow and is being used along the lines of a zombie pc to send out the spam itself? so long as you're up to date on the anti virus, firewall, spyware and windows fronts that shouldn't be the case."Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." (Mark Twain)0
