It was just like sooooooo embarassing. innit.... like coz ee finks dat woz der daiis.

I come to the pub tonight for a rant.:mad: I have had the most horrible experience this afternoon by a real moron. If anyone here has read my diary from way back, there is a bit about someone who I considered a really good friend pre br and pre her telling me I was no longer in her league. Well contact was cut for clear reasons despite her only being six houses away I have had no reason to speak to her. However during the last year her husband always waved hello to which I and my oh would wave back. So to today, I was walking past their house on route to shops with all my kids and her husband says "Hello Jen", I say "hello", he says "your hair looks different", I say "yes its growing back". And then the ignorant git shouts at me that he thought I had changed my hair so I could be incognito, "eh?" i said (baffled), then he goes on to tell me (in front of my kids) that he thought I had changed my hair to hide from people, eh? i said, he then went on to tell me I should be ashamed to be seen after going bankrupt. He was still going on as I quickly walked off with the kids. OMG, I got home and wept like a baby. I really don't know whether its anger that he did that to me in the street with my kids there or whether its anger that he thought he could say it at all. Or whether its just dawned on me that people might really think that of me and my husband. I am also really cross with myself for not replying in any sense. I came on the forum this afternoon but was too upset to post. Four days till AD and I get abuse like that.:o

Oh jenny that is just plain nasty! I would like to say that I would have punched him and laid him out cold but to be honest I think I would have done just the same as you. Congratulate yourself on being the better person and not giving him the satisfaction of getting a reaction out of you. I am so sorry he upset you. Big Hugs! :grouphug:
