Tiger - I bet your kids don't believe what you used to buy with 10 pence. In my sister's house, she's the only one that uses 5 p pieces, her kids say they aren't worth anything so don't even carry them.

5YP we have a traditional sweet shop in town and they sell everything from jars, including my old favourites. But it costs me about a £1 to get what I used to buy for 10p :rolleyes:. Last time I brought a load I measured it out for my eldest and showed him what I used to get for 10p and you are right he was gobsmacked. ME too TF, you could barely get them in your mouth! They could last for days. Nought like the good ole days! I'm going to see if my husband can think of anything - he's 12 years older than me so I'm sure he can think of loads - that is if he can still remember them!
