    I remember slicing my finger on the machine that my mum had to make minced meat. It used to screw on to the side of the table and you would push the meat in the top and crank the handle and it came out the side all mince up :D:D

    I mentione vesta curries remember them? 6pennyworth of scratchings from the chippy,andhas anybody noticed how small old captain birdseye's fish fingers have got. I still do stuffed heartsa real thing of the past.

    Yeah, that was it, Fray Bentos! I've never had one and can't imagine what the pastry is like!

    I'm from another country and we had our share of 70's stuff like sloppy joe's and hamburger helper! Then after hamburger helper was such a success they came out with tuna helper!

    Phil- yes DH just mentioned party 7

    Tiger- love fray bentos but all kidney/gravy and not much steak!

    Tell you what you can not get and they were my absolute fav.
