Heating with oil

Heating oil prices can change daily, last week I bought 1000 litres for £273.74. I was told that the price had dropped a little because Chinese interest rates had gone up ??? . About three years ago I paid only £100 for 1000 litres. If you want the best price find out who your local suppliers are and ask them for a quote.0

I'm afraid Lewis is right - all you can do is phone all your reasonably local suppliers for the best price.
Very few companies post their price on the web, but do shop around as you can save £20-£30 on 1000 litres.
I've just been quoted £270 for 1000l by my supplier, so it looks like Lewis' price was competitive.
Very annoying, price has been around 18ppl for quite a while so a hike to 27ppl is pretty major.
See, it's not just the electric and gas costs that are rising!
