New account advice please?

Does anyone know if there are any accounts available that don't require credit checks and come with a Visa debit card?....Not Maestro

Thanks :)

Sadly Not, most banks and building societies will do a credit check before they consider what kind of bank account they will give you.

Barclays and A&L use visa debit.
    HSBC use Maestro.

The bank(s) you are already with are not likely to credit check you again because they will have credit checked you already.
