We are a registered charity and have Public Liability insurance. We recently purchased 6 Marquees for use at our Family Fun Day and since have had numerous requests for them to be hired our.
I have spoken to our insurers and we are covered for negligence on our part but we would need to ensure that any hirer has public liability insurance to cover them.
We also need a hire agreement to cover replacement of the marquees should they become damaged.
Does anyone have, or know where I could find a proforma agreement that I could use (after any required adaptation!) to cover the hire of the marquees and confirmation that the hirer has necessary insurance in place?
Also, if we hired one of the marquees out to an individual would we need a different type of agreement? Would household insurance normally cover this?
Hope someone can help.

It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission

I am not sure about the agreement but with insurance it's always a good idea to check the small print.0

There are some very detailed terms and conditions here that could be copied and pasted in part to suit your needs. Add a contact detail and signature box to the bottom, and your logo at the top, and you are sorted.
