I have narrowed my next application for a credit card between Lloyds, Mint & HSBC.
Does anyone have any experiences they wish to share on how these cards compare.
Lloyds is 12m 0%, Mint is 8m 0% and HSBC is 9m 0% so i should maximise with Lloyds, however if they offer low credit limits like Barclaycard then I might be better with one of the other cards.
I need to compare
0% length
better credit limits
likely acceptance

Lloyds is likely to give a lower credit limit than the others0

Haven't got HSBC, have got Lloyds & Mint. My Lloyds limit was 3x the Mint limit, but I do have a current account at Lloyds.

I'd echo the above, LloydsTSB give good limits to existing current account holders!Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0

Like Unbelievable, my current account has always been with Lloyds.
They gave me a Lloyds Platinum £15K credit limit, despite the fact that my annual income is £12K !!!
Apparently I am an A1 customer, superb track record, even though the Lloyds Createcard had turned me down a couple of months earlier!
I did subsequently ask for an HSBC Gold card, in the local branch but they only offered me £500, so I declined!
Won't be trying Mint for a while, it's on the list0 -
I can back up Lloyds give good credit limits - and the intro periods can usually be renewed.
I started with a 6.5k limit - but it has inreased steadily over a few years and is now @ 16k ;D
I have a Mint card with a 3k limit which also wont renew - so not the best card for stoozing.
Been turned down for HSBC - although I know someone who got one with a 6k limit. not too bad. unsure what they are like at renewing offers. To Stooze or Not To Stooze - Theres only one option

Another benefit of being a lloydstsb current account holder is that they didn't credit search me and my card doesn't appear on my credit file. Doubt that would be the case for a new customer though, and people have reported that they start telling the credit agencies if you miss payments.
Have just paid off my Platinum 0% deal so maybe now would be a good time to try for a renewal

Just applied for a Mint card and got the relatively low limit of £1500.
However, this is card number 7 (5 of which were obtained in the last year) so the low limit may have something to do with the amount of cards I've already got/high available credit.0 -
I got a measly £1500 limit with Lloyds
Got a current account with them, though I don't use it i.e. Halifax is my main current account.0 -
Just got an HSBC card with £6500 limit.
I've been refused a lot of cards recently probably due to stoozing (I hate that word) around 50K so I was a bit surprised.
Got a Mint card with 2K limit but Lloyds 'just said no'

HSBC Gold is 0% purchases until 1st Sept 2005, but Balance Transfers are only 0% for 6 months from application, so it depends what you want to use it for.
