So far have spent £2.00 today on bus fair. Would have walked it but the road through is closed off and have to take the (very) long way round via bus.0

Haven't spent anything since Friday despite hunger pangs on the way home tonight. Totally forgot my fruit today - I'm spoilt the rest of the week & don't like leaving the house so early!Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0

I am sooo pleased for you! I well remember when I paid the last of my debt. I had £60 left at the end of the month and that money was now
MINE!
It was a carefully planned debt, so it was no surprise when I saw the end of it, still the feeling was unique!
Anyway... Today I spent £4.85 at Pret A Manger in Kensington High Street Station. I had already decided I would have lunch there as I can sit in peace and spend an hour doing pressing paperwork, so this expense was budgeted for. Other than that, nothing, as I had already a full fridge.
This evening I have cooked myself a pasta dish (the way only we Italians can) and the total cost is very low if you do the whole thing yourself - ie. no ready sauces from the supermarket - and a lot healthier if fresh organic ingredient are used. Add the fact the the only pasta I use is wholewheat, plus there is a good dollop of freshly grated parmesan, and you have a very nutritious meal at a fraction of the price you would pay for the equivalent ready-made stodge from a supermarket. No offence to those who like ready-mades!
Oh, and I found a petshop which sells millet sprays 20p cheaper per bunch than my usual one. So that's another 20p per week saved from now on, that is £10 a year!
:beer:Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Spent £14.71 in Tesco but Monday is reducing night it seems! Got four packs of chicken tikka stuff that normally I won't touch as it's £1.98 a pack - for 40p each!! Also two salmon en croute for 58p the pair! Four half baguettes for 16p for all four! AND two packs of six rolls for 8p each pack!!!!
:T :T :T
