How much did you spend? 10/10

Yo.......

Im feeling rather chirpy for a Monday morning, the gym this morning probably helped (where's my halo?!!!) ;0)

I havent heard from the 2nd job, i/v i went for on Sat - I have a feeling I wasnt successful, but oh well, at lease that means I'll still have my Saturdays free for the time being, hoorah!!!

Saturday I spent £0.00

Sunday I spent £8.99 on groceries

Today - nothing. (bought lunch in, doing nothing tonight).

Also, have sold some rollerblades, so someone is coming to collect them tomorrow, I only asked for £20, and suspect I should have asked for more, but oh well. (i only bought them for a tenner from a charity shop, so havent done too badly!!).

Aside from that its 2 weeks on Thursday til payday......... Whooooooo!!!

xx

I haven't spent anything so far, but have to go grocery shopping tonight. I've just done a meal plan for the next two weeks, so hopefully everything I get tonight will last me for a couple of weeks.

I really admire people who do meal plans. Im not that organised :0)

If its on your PC, would you email me a copy? (because im nosy!!)

I just spent £2 on a National Express trip from London to Milton Keynes to visit my sister - how cheap is that!!!! And since there are engineering works on that line anyway, I'll actually be getting there quicker than I would by train!!

Means I can spend more on booze, tee hee. Just kidding!!
  • had a bad weekend.... it was a friends 21st birthday and she decided to go to Nottingham for a night out - an expensive one it was...

    £55 for the hotel room
    £20 for lunch!!!!!
£30 for her birthday meal (i paid for debt ridden boyfriend too)
£10 for car park and taxi
    £30 for meal on Sunday
and i still have to contribute to the present we all got for her which will be £30 (paying for boyf's part again)

oh now i feel sick and have nothing to show for it!

Sat - spent about £4 on a coffee and pain au choclat on way to Derby, then £6 on a round of wine in the pub that evening.

Sun - £1.49 on a birthday card, 86p on cat biscuits and £1.50 on a paper.

Today - 40p on fruit but have to go food shopping tonight.

HOWEVER I took back two pairs of shoes I bought the other week, and got total refund of £50. Does that count as moneysaving lol!

Hiya ms-london - my meal plan is on a scrappy old envelope I found in my bag (not organised enough to do it on the pc :o ). If I ever do one on the computer I shall make sure to email it to you!! I like planning meals, but the trouble I have is sticking to the plan - by the time I get home and think about having to spend time in the kitchen "something on toast" always sounds much better!! :o

well done on finding your cheap coach ticket - I spent 6 hours on a train yesterday getting back to London so I would advise steering clear of the trains at the moment!!
  • I wasn't going to spend anything but did! Got my DD a pair of pj's and a pair of tights - grand total £4.25. Also £2.15 in the bakery. ;)

Several members on old style have mentioned having a meal planner. If you post your request on there, someone may be able to e-mail you a copy of theirs.
