Travellers Chq's, Money or Travel Card?

Hi!

Im travelling to Italy next week and i'm unsure whether i should take all cash, travellers cheques or the new Travel Money card offered by the Post Office?

I don't have a credit or debit card, so they are my only options. I'm not too confident about this Travel Money card the post office offers, as i don't know whether MOST shops in Rome/Sorrento will accept it? I've just applied for a 'Cash Plus - Mastercard - Pre-paid' card, which is very similar to the Travel Card, except i think Mastercard is alot more widely used than the Travel Card?

I'd appreciate any advice you may have in any of the choices i've suggested. I'm taking £750 with me.

Thanks!

Emma

Don't take all cash! Maybe about £100 worth

I'd probably opt for travellers cheques.

Don't buy from Post Office, their rates are pretty poor.
