Web2Messenger

Hi All!

There's a relatively new site up called Web2Messenger. It basically allows you to send an Instant Message to someone when they are not actually signed in. A BOT relays all so called offline messages to you when you next sign in.

It's currently in it's BETA testing stage, and is therefore invitation only. Currently only about 5000 people in the world have this service available to them. I have 5 invites on a first come first seved basis!

Send me a PM and i'll give you an invite link! These invites go EXTREMELY fast elsewhere!

Matt :)

EDIT: Yeah, it's for MSN Messenger, i forgot to say!!

Why would you want to use another site to redirect to MSN when you already have it on your pc?

Has anyone else got any knowledge of this site, when I just looked at their forum which claims to have 1,982 members there was only one other guest and one member on it?
    Torgwen.......... :) ...........
  • I think you are misunderstanding, Fran.

It allows you to send messages, via a website, that is delivered by a BOT on your MSN Messenger contact list for when your contact comes back online. Bit of a mouthful.

Let me assure you it's no scam. And they don't want your hotmail password :)

Tut Tut, people think anything new from an new company or what ever is a scam or a fraud. It's good to take caution, but it's not good to jump to conclusions.

1 of the invites have gone! 4 left. If you don't understand the concept/dont want or need it, then dont let ask :) They go like hotcakes elsewhere on the net (Ie. MSN Messenger Interest Forums) - sometimes 100 a minute!

    Matt.

    You mean like email does?

  • But it is an Instant Message rather than an email...

EDIT: Also, it allows people to send you instant messages, without you giving your email address out, since the BOT relays it. It's ideal for implementing into your blog etc, to receive Instant Messages, but without giving out your address.
