Someone please help i so connfussed about courses fees and loans.

Hi i am 29 yrs old married with a 3yr old daughter we have no income except hubbys which he earned last year 24,000 (twenty four thousand) i have been acepted on a svq level two beauty therapy course.
So my question is will i have to pay for the course?
will i be entitled to any help?
i am english also living in scotland does this make a diffrence? any advice is very welcome thanks wendy.

You can only get help if you receive some sort of benefit. (JSA, IB, IS, WTC, etc)

If this is your first level 2 qualification then you won't have to pay any course fees. I believe that the Adult Learning Grant doesn't exist in Scotland but they have an Individual Learning Account instead.I'm sure someone in Scotland will have more information on this.0 -
If you can't get reduced course fees, I think you can apply to the learning support fund for help with the cost.If this is your first level 2 qualification then you won't have to pay any course fees.

You will receive full fee remission if you have been a resident of Scotland for the past three years, irrespective of age.Gone ... or have I?0 -

That's not what I've been told. What I've posted (both times) I've either been told it, or seen it on the government website.0
