getting music on to my pc

I am trying to copy some of my CDs on to my PC so that I can put some tracks of music on to Windows movie maker.
I have managed to copy them using Rip Music, and they are now saved to the library.
However, I think that to use them on windows movie maker I need to copy them in to my music.
Is that right?
If so, how can I copy them into my music? I would like them in my music anyway, so even if I do not actually need them there for this, can anyone tell me how to do it.
TIA

I'm assuming you're using Windows Media Player to rip the tracks...doesn't it store your ripped tracks in My Music?0

Just go to the inport music or audio menu.
Note that WMM with only handle wma or mp3 files.
If you want to put them all in to my music use windows explorer, right click form the start button find the folder that the tracks are in and simply drag and drop them into my music. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
