Be warned, the new passpost photo regs are driving the Post Office mad, since September they have had several hundred applications rejected.

If you use the Post Office to check and send your renewal off (£7.00) and it gets rejected by the passport office, don't waste your time asking your local Post Office for a refund, they will wriggle like a snake and quote all sorts of
rubbish why they cannot give you a refund, call 0845 7223344 and hang on for an operator.
Their customer service was amazing!!! (I would give the lady a job!!!) her name was Ann Maria (Well done Post Office)
Straight away said "Can we call you back to save your phone bill?"
Called me back within 30 seconds, within 3 minutes all details given and I was assured a cheque would be dispatched.
