Really?! you must be really unlucky with that one- I don't get alot from Survey sites (though after reading things on here, have applied to do others and things are now a little different.)
Just wondered why you never get any surveys to do- have a few suggestions?
Make sure the messages to do surveys that the sites send are allowed or on your "safe" list- even when you select them as "not junk"- they can still end up in the junk filter, you may need to select the addy they have on your safe contact list.
Answer any surveys within 24 hours- the sooner the better- they will send out the same survey to many many people, if they fill their requirements, they wont require you to do the survey.
Update your details on the site! its well worth doing this every now and then- some sites will have you at a higher priority to do surveys just because your details are more up to date!
When updating your details, do so as losely as possible- try not to say no to anything- obviously don't lie, but if you don't want to fill in details about something, say your insurance details or your mobile phone brand/network, it can and will affect how many surveys you get invited to.
And finally! some survey sites are way better then others- they all take a day and an age to obtain enough points to get anywhere, so don't go into this purely for the money! but its nice to be able to add your opinion and even see new ideas on new products- I have even done surveys on a topic then heard on the news "a recent survey of consumers...." and then click- I was part of that survey- I am able to have my point of view inclded and valued!! I have revamped my details on some sites and have made way more from doing things differnetly now-
I would personally recomment the following sites (you will need to google them as we are not allowed to post links- or atleast the last time I did my message got swiped off the boards!)
OnePoll: slow but good to do- you have to log onto the site daily to do surveys, but they are short and sweet- in my opinion, this is my favorite site, even if payment is low.
GlobalTestMarket- they send me quite afew surveys, they pay even if you don't qualify to do them, its only 5 points (25 cents) but its better then nothing, you request a cheque once you get enough points and it comes from the US so takes about a month to arrive. (They pay in £)
PureProfile: good little site, flashy graphics, but they don't send that many surveys out- like once or twice a month for me and I rarely qualify- I used to qualify a while ago for many but my situation changed and I guess I am not in ther marketing group.
YouGov- very similar to Pureprofile, good but could be better. I have heard they are reliable in payment though.
And sites I would avoid are
Ciao- payment is miniscule for a very long survey, and the sites links are often broken. They also have a habit of saying "you are not suitable" and this is after 20 minutes of a 20 minute survey. The good pint is though they do warn you "this is a 20 minute survey for 5p" and if your bored enough, you can take them up on it. They will return your complaint emails....3 weeks later.
ToLuna- though they do pay up in the end, it can take MONTHS to get anywhere with them. They seem to use the excuse that they are French and seem to think this is ok. I can imagine many French men and women squirming when they think that these messages are being sent out to people in their thousands- and feel stunned that they feel its ok to stereotype their country like this! They pay in vouchers sent to you via email. (Yes, still takes months). Sometimes they do not add points for the surveys you do and you have to keep tabs on them to remind them to add what is 10p or so in points to your account. And quite often they do not reply wjen you email them.Too much like hard work!
Opinion World: these surveys will not get you anywhere, they pay to charities and say they will enter you in a competition gazillion times, but you never win anything, and you never earn anything. They say they have paid charities ££££ but you never hear anything from the charities aside from looking at their logo on the site. The also do not conact you back when you email them.
There are many more sites, but these are my best/worst. Check what you take up with the survey police who can verify if its a scam site or its worth doing, the link for this is: http://www.surveypolice.com/0 -
