That is so bad. I always cash out as soon as I have enough points for a voucher as all your hard work means nothing until you actually have a voucher in your hand (or email inbox).

I normally like to save up my points to cash them out at xmas which was why i was trying to sign in. I don't lie on surveys so i don't know what they are on about.
£20 is a lot of money to just take from me. I have emailed them back i don't think its going to get me anywhere & i know they won't give me the £20 that they nicked from me. I'm just so angry that they could treat me like this.

That is really bad of them actually- I would try to contact them, maybe they have made some sort of mistake? ask if they can atleast look into it- whatever you do, do not get angry with them via email as it will just get thier backs up- I know from my own short temper just how hard this is so maybe either sleep on it or write out a reply and ask someone else to edit it. It can make all the difference if you have someone on your side when you get in contact with them.

Do they give any examples? evidence? proof? they atleast owe it to you to show things like this, if they think you are not being honest, then they owe you some sort of backup, its a hurtful remark and harsh penatly when it could have been something as simple as you not understanding a question.

  • Hi guys

to say since I started doing online surveys
I think it was in july I recommend IPSOS panel I just got a 10 boots voucher
message to Daisy.. have you changed any of your circumstances since joining ipsos?
you know single to married number of people at home etc etc?
I think you may have to change your profile to tell them this or it looks like you're telling fibs
It was just an idea ...as my son has moved out and there are only three of us at home now which would affect my answers I give now to the iones I gave previously

    I'm livid

I couldn't access my Ipsos account so emailed them to ask why.
I just got an email back which said:

Upon analysing the data collected through some of our surveys, we have observed several discrepancies in the answers you have given to similar questions in these surveys. These incongruencies have adversely affected the accuracy and applicability of our survey results. Therefore, we have unfortunately been required to deactivate your account and cancel your membership in our panel.

Unfortunately, your account cannot be reactivated in these circumstances, nor can you log into our points website.

I don't lie on these surveys so i have no idea what they are on about.
Whats annoyed me even more is that i had over £20 in my account which i can't have because they've cancelled the account. I went onto & accessed my account only a few weeks ago. They just cancelled it without so much as an email to tell me.
I have emailed them back but i doubt its going to do me any good.

£20 is a lot of money imo & had taken me a while to build that £20 up as they never used to send me many surveys.
I just can't believe they've closed my account & taken over £20 off of me. They are clearly saying that i've lied but i haven't lie in their surveys.
    :(
The same thing happened to me last year with Ipsos. I noticed I hadn't had any surveys for a couple of months from them and I sent them an email to enquire why. I was sent an email from them saying that they had banned me as they had found discrepancies in my answers.
I like you had always answered truthfully and I was quite upset by the implication that I had lied. I also had money in my account with them which I lost though I think it was under £5.
I do recommend that when anyone reaches a withdrawable amount on any survey site that they withdraw it immediately. A few years ago I had about £20 in my account on one site for it to disappear from the internet completely. As we head into a recession I expect some of these sources of easy money to dry up.
