Pinecone don't do referrals. You need to look out for their banners, although they're few and far between.

I agree that Ciao surveys payments are rubbish - I believe that they get surveys from other survey companies sites where they would get the full payment of for example £1 then redirect these onto unsuspecting people like us paying us just a fraction of that £1 say £0.10p thus pocketing a profit of £0.90p for doing nothing!

I would suggest you don't sign up with Ciao and go direct and would also point out that many other so called survey sites do the same so be very wary.

Hi I know this is slightly off topic but after reading this thread I signed up to a few of the survey sites mentioned. I did one survey for opinion world for which I was notified by email. Since then I have recieved two invites in the last 24 hours which I can see on the main site but have no email invitation to allow me to take them! I know of no other way to complete them and have sent the helpdesk two email but as of yet have no response. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way around it?

Sometimes I find a survey when visiting their site. Usually you can just click on the link and do the survey that way. The great thing is that the reward is credited instantly.

Hi libra.

When I click on the surveys on the site they are not links they are just normal text. Its sooooo frustrating that I can see two surveys sitting there that I cant take and theres nothing I can do about it!

Are these survey companies only availble via banner clicks or personal invitation? If so can anyone advise what type of site I'd find the banners (for instance where you found yours) or how I get a personal invitation?

As far as i know, this is the case for Pinecone, not sure about others but most of them you can sign up from their site

Its possible with most of them to just google them andthen click on the icon to register, very few require you to be invited but ther are sites such as ipoints (google this or I get reported if I provide a link- its what happened before!) but via ipoints you can actually gain ipoints for joining these sites. Its a long long wait to get anything vaugly decent from ipoints (in my opinion) but its better then nothing!

Ok opinionworld has added yet another survey to my account (that makes 3 now) but havent emailed me a link to let me take them! Nor can I just click on them as nothing happens so I have to look at 3 paying surveys sitting there that I can do nothing about. I have emailed them twice but still have no reply. Grrrrrr! Is anyone else having the same problem?

No im not having that problem but have got a problem in that Opinion World have never paid me for 2 completed surveys and i have been waiting for over 4 months now for promised credits into my paypal account. They advised 2 months ago they were having problems and i would be paid within the next 4 weeks but now they are not answering any emails i have sent them for the last 3 weeks now so guess they got my opinions for nothing. im not happy with this survey company at all.
