Has anybody had any experience of the survey site cashforsurveys.co.uk
as just had an email from them for a £5 survey, but not sure if it looks a bit iffy.

dont think cashforsurveys is a paid survey site as such, they just provide a list of survey sites.
• Hiya could someone please invite me to pinecone would be much appreciated thanks.

I'm a member of quite a few really
Global Test Market
Hi Points
Home of Research
It's your view
Juicy Brains Panel
Lightspeed panel
Opinionate
Opinium research panel
Panelbase
Toluna
Valued Opinions
You Gov
My Voice

Lightspeed and Valued Opinion are my favs. I used to be a member with Ciao but 10p for doing 30 minutes work they can forget about it.
Have had a few gift vouchers over the years from a few of them and only 10 more surveys to go before I get the £50 from You Gov.

Getting quite a few recently from Global test market and home of research so they look promising.

I have a spreadsheet set up in which I put the information such as the survey company name. the points and cash and if you get points what the are equivalent to in cash.
So for instance Lightspeed Panel point work out at 115 points per £1. Therefore to work out your cash if you had 1260 LPS you would X it by 100 and then divide it by 115 =1095= £10.95
and Global Test Market is based on 1 point =5cents which I then convert using XE Currency converter.

I also have a column showing when you can cash in your points and for what. This way I can keep utpo date with what I have in total.

Have just signed up to IPSOS and done two surveys for them, but find it annoying that they don't say how many points you will get in the survey email

Hi.
If you go to the FAQ you can see how many points you get depending on length etc.

I have been with IPSOS for a year now and think it is one of the best out there, they sometimes also ask you to test products at home such as washing powder, fabric conditioner sweets.

These survey sites most of them in their Terms And Conditions section they usually mention Tax e.g. (Research Now has no obligation in respect of any tax due on the Reward given to a member and the member shall be responsible for declaring any income received from Research Now under this Agreement.) Can anyone explain that please? Are they saying that you have to pay tax on the rewards given?

Yes I think you are supposed to declare this income for tax, I do anyhow, just for less stress! I am SE and on the tax form it asks whether you receive any gifts in lieu of income, or something like that.

Im fed up with Toluna. Way back in may I claimed vouchers and they never arrived. After contacting them they said deffo sent out would I check my address in my profile [fob off ] then a few weeks back I reached enough points to claim an amazon voucher which I assumed would come via an email code and not have to worry about it not arriving but NO, they post them too and someone said it comes from france so god knows where they go but Ive lost out twice now.
• I'm new to this whole "online surveys" thing...mainly because I refuse to get scammed, so I look into all sites (and reviews on the web) thoroughly before signing up. From what i've seen, Valued Opinions is my top choice. I need an invitation though, can someone please give me one? My names Amanda O. and my e-mail is MandyPantzzz@yahoo.com. It would be GREATLY appreciated! <3 Thanks!

You don't need an invite for Valued Opinions. If you just do a search in Google for Valued Opinion it should be on there and then just go to the join now part of the site.

Also it isn't wise to post your email address on a website. This is the way scammers etc can get hold of your email address. HTH
