So far, I've only received a few surveys from Valued Opionions, but I have only been registered with them for about 6 months. I also signed up for surveys through ipoints and I get a fair few from them, although I've found they tend not to filter the surveys first. (So I get a dew directed at purchasers at work, or IT managers ... none of which are for me!) I always fill them out though, just in case you get 'bonus' points. Toluna send loads of surveys and as I'm at work I fill them out regularly because I can ... but it does take an age to accumulate anything. Lightspeed kicked me off as I'd signed up with both home and work emails :embarasse ... my fault, I hadnt realised that I had 2 accounts and frankly, it wasnt worth my effort arguing with them - but be aware of this!

Pinecone sounds fantastic, but I understand that you need to be invited by them to join. I have no idea how an invite appears though - if anyone can give me any tips to look out for, I'd be grateful! Along with all the survey sites I've joined, I also get a huge amount of rubbish too and usually just delete these. Maybe I've missed a golden opportunity somewhere along the line!

Just signed up for Ipsos and MySurvey (previously MyTNS), so fingers crossed I'll get a few surveys from them, too.

Good luck with sorting out the best ones to go for!

Pinecone Research are great, and Valued Opinions are ok. I used to do a lot but the money is so rubbish I just don't bother any more - they are not worth the time, apart from these two. Well, out of the ones I joined anyway. I'll be interested to see which companies other people recommend.

I'm on a fair number of survey panels and have done reasonably well out of them - none of them are particularly fast in getting rewards, but so far I've built up enough points on three (Ipsos, Valued Opinions and Shop and Scan) to get a new iPod 160gb Classic; a few cheques (from HiPoints, Its Your View and a couple of others) that helped me pay for a week in a holiday cottage, and some other bits and pieces from Juicy Brains, Pinecone and The Mutual to help top up my books and DVD's!
Ciao has gone down a bit, and I may well quit when I next cash out my rewards.

You certainly need patience; I doubt anyone could make enough from these things to give up the day job, but as long as you don't mind devoting some time each week to complete the various surveys, then you should do reasonably well.
    Au Res.,
    Paul

How do I register with Pinecone Research? I can't see anywhere on their website (though I could just be being a bit blind today!) and can't even get their "Contact Us" form to work (it keeps asking for me to enter a valid study number???)...

    My favourites are:

    Ipsos
    Lightspeed
    Pinecone

I don't bother any more with:
YouGov - 50p per survey, very infrequent and you can't cash it in until you reached £50!
ciao - used to be good payers but now 10p for a survey?
If I have been of any assistance, or my information is useful, please press the "Thanks" button :)

I'm a little shocked that MVO gets so many votes, because I've only recieved one survey from them since joining a few months ago. I was very happy with Lightspeed for the first week, but then I haven't heard from them since. I haven't heard from Justtheanswer at all. I think I must have a terrible survey profile.

Out of those, though, I guess I'll have to say Global Test Market. They're the only ones who I hear from really, although they often reject me.

My TNS is now My survey, can get your points converted straight to Nectar Points.
Also like being a bzzagent, get free samples to talk about and share with friends as a way of passing on information. The latest Bzz campaign is for Danone Activia. I received vouchers to purchase 2 packs of 8 Activia to share with friends and 10 - 50p vouchers to give out to people. You share the word and keep sending back reports to BzzAgent

I've noticed that surveys are a bit like buses. You wait ages for one then a whole load show up at the same time :rotfl:

I can go weeks/months without a single survey cropping up then I get about 4 a day (different sites) for at least a couple of weeks.

    You have a PM ;)

Edit: I don't think I can refer anyone else at the moment. I've referred about 6 people in the last 2 days, so AdeleBird is my last one. Sorry
