I've got to say Opinion World have been a very pleasent suprise. Not only do all the points load to your account as soon as you finish a survey, but payment is intantaneous.

I'd never heard a good word about OW, so I guesses it was probs waste of time, especially as I reached 975/1000 points and got screened out of 3 surveys in a row.

And when I requested payout, the wording was all slightly odd saying I would be paying them and something which I still think is a little odd asking for my PayPal password - does anybody else think thats a bit risky? I'm just considering what details they can possible get out of it.

It wouldn't be a complete suprise for somebody to make fake surveys, pay £10 to you in exchange for all your details, and completely mug you off. :(

I did forget to say that I got the money straight away, and it asks for your password through the "Secure PayPal server". So who knows

It's not a problem, it's like when you make a payment via paypal and have to log in to send it, I presume it's to validate the account you're asking them to send the money to - possibly it sends an auto request for the money to the OW account?
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • at the moment it randomly appears on bananalotto(dot)co(dot)uk banners
  • My favourite ones are consumerpulse, shopandscan, valued opinions these I never have problems with.

In regards to opinion world I find them very good I have had in 4 months about £80.00. The only down side is there was a follow up survey which I couldn’t do because it kept saying my screen size was wrong and no one would reply to my email but they kept sending me the request. Once you hit 1000 you can cash in for £10 paypal which shows up immediately into your account.

I also like Global Opinions yeah itl take you forever to reach the cash out threshold but I get a lot of products to try this month I have had mouth wash, toilet roll, nappies, hand cream, deodorant and handwash. Which I find a change to always receiving vouchers.

The litmus test is also a good one only really had 3 surveys off them to test 3 products but they send you £4 boots vouchers in the post.

IPSOS are another one I really like their customer service is good and I enjoy the different types of surveys they send their not always long winded.

Litmus Test sounded interesting so I had a look at their website but in the T&Cs it says: 7.1 The Member will not receive a reward for testing the Trial Product but is entitled to keep the Trial Product free of charge except where Litmus asks the Member to return the Trial Products under clause 6.2. Maybe they don't pay newer members, how long ago did you join them?

    ^^ My question too.

I've been with Litmus for years now, never been invited onto any product trials.
  • Been with them since January and I have tested 1 baby bath and 1 baby lotion got to keep the product then they sent me some Boots vouchers.

Hi, was just wondering is shopandscan like the nielsen scanner scheme? I've read on earlier pages here that it's hard to reach high points in order to get rewards on that scheme and that it's very time consuming to enter barcodes there, so was just wondering is it the same story with shopandscan? Thanks :)
