Then click 'My Points', along the top.

    Good luck

  • Can you shop at amazon.com if your in the uk?

Im doing a site which is offering to pay me either in $ through paypal or amazon.com vouchers.

The thing is, I am in the UK, the exchange rate on the points I am earning makes is better to get amazon vouchers as thats only 45 points for $5 voucher whereas paypal is 75 points for a $5 payment.

If I get the amazon vouchers, will I be able to actually spend them? Will amazon.com let me order from them instead on amazon.co.uk?
  • I think that you can just request a five dollar voucher and then apply this to your amazon account. It will obviously change the value of your voucher to the equivalent sterling value but can then be spent on the .co.uk site.

You may be able to (not sure- you'd need to check with amazon.com/the ts and cs on the voucher) but watch out for the postage which wont be free and also customs which may or may not happen, but I wouldn't want to chance it!

    thats swagbucks right?

Anyway to answer your question, yes you can shop at the US site if you live in the UK

I've used the vouchers to purchase Dragonball Z DVD's which cost me around $140. I them imported them into the UK, and wasn't charged once by customs, due to the fact that i ordered them one at a time, and as such the value was low enough that it wouldn't have been worth their time to charge me.(Most were below £21))

You can check this page to see what you can order

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_navbox_center_intl?nodeId=596184&

Shipping will cost a bit, considering the items will come from america, but yes you can shop at amazon.com.

Also the good thing is you won't have a time limit to spend the voucher in, as it doesn't expire once its applied to your amazon.com account. So you can do what i did and stack the vouchers up, so you could afford a better item.

I have been a member of Pinecone for some time and have received £4 for each survey completed but nothing extra for testing and reporting back on a sample.
I have just been told by another person that they receive the £4 for the survey, then a further £4 if they receive a sample to test and complete the questionnaire. Also a further £4 if they have to return the test sample.
I would be interested to hear what payments other members receive as I find it odd that they have different payments for members.

I get £3 in vouchers for every survey completed, but haven't done any testing yet so can't comment on that.
I didn't realise that other people got £4 a time - both my sister and I get £3.

Does it relate to when you joined? I joined about 6 months or so ago.
  • people who signed up a long time ago get 4 pound at a time, iv personally joined three years ago

I've just received an e-mail today pointing out about their quality checks (which I knew). But they have listed 2 occasions when I failed going back about 3 years! I remember them & both were genuine mistakes & I even wrote to them about one of them at the time.
They now say that if I have a 3rd failure I will be removed from the panel and worse still forfeit any points accrued. I wonder why suddenly sending this out after such a long time.

Has anyone else received this e-mail?

Well they didnt even give me notice about this.

I had £42 with them and had just completed a £3 survey. I am very sure I didnt make any errors on it and a few days later they sent me an email saying over the 3 years I had been with them I had made 3 errors and therefore my account was now closed.

    Complete joke

Yes I've had this email today too. They have also said that I failed the quality checks twice which I disputed at the time as I always answer honestly and to the best of my ability. They did not pay me for those 2 surveys which I had completed and which would have been for £6.

I also think that their qualifying questions are sometimes difficult to answer. For instance they ask how many children you have - well my "children" are both over 30 years old and have left home. But they are still my children and I'm not going to say I have no children.
