It took me 18 months to get to £50 with YouGov. I got my cheque in September and since then I've had 1 surveys worth 25p! Haven't had any survey invite since even though I still log in and do their 'prize draws'. I think I should give up..
    2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
    2013: £134.96

Just done another 50p YouGov survey now at £41 not bad for nothing
    in a year.

I find when I do the prize draw ones it tends to generate paid ones .
    YouGov :) £50.....2/09/09
    YovGov :) £50....11/03/11
    YouGov :) £50....10/08/12

Hi, I use 'Onepoll' which in my opinion is ok, but after looking at the table above it sees 'Valued opinions' and 'lightspeed' are most popular. Could someone breifly explain their systems and what the average time is to do a survey and how much on average they pay you per survey.
E.g. Onepoll give around 10p per survey taking 3 minutes.
    Thanks alot.

P.s. Anyone use Harrispoll? I gave up on it a long time ago as in my opinion it was pretty awful.

Yeah sure, here are a few of my experiences:

Onepoll: survey takes me 1 min and pays 5-10p or a prize draw for amazon vouchers.

Lightspeed: surveys vary- I get around 100 to 500 points a month on surveys and get send about 1-3 a week to do, which I rarely get through with. They pay either 80 or 110 (if your lucky) points. Cash-out is 550 points, which is £5 from amazon. Surveys take anything from 5 minutes to 25 minutes. They do prewarn you on the survey time (which is always longer then it actually takes!). If your screened out, you usually pick up 10 points.

Valued Opinions: Surveys pay around 75p to £2 a month, many surveys I get screened out from so potentially much much more then that, surveys take anything from 5-20 minutes, and vary from 50p to £1 or so a survey- no doubt others have had more £ per survey then me- I'm quite new to it! Can cash-out at £10 for various vouchers- Amazon, Arcadia... see site for more info on exactly what.

Ipsos: I like these though I rarely hear from them anymore! They pay in points, and roughly 100-400 a month again if you don't get screened out. Points turn into various vouchers or gifts, for places like Arcadia (I like Arcadia as Topshop is there :D ) I now have not had any surveys I have not been screened from for several months and surveys in general have calmed down for me from Ipsos.

Global Test Market: despite the words given on the Survey Police website, they do pay! After you reach 1000+ points, 1 point = 5 U.S cents. Then work out the exchange rate to get an aprox. amount for what you get in a cheque which will arrive to you in 6-8 weeks- and for me it came in 4 weeks :) I get about 200-300 points a month.

Toluna....where do I start!! OK, the main case for these is they do pay up...eventually, they do reply to your emails...eventually-and if you keep hasselling them, and they do for most of the people, pay points into their accounts. But its worth keeping tabs on surveys you do, points you are due, and makeing sure they go into your account. With all other survey sites, its instant- you see Onepoll for example, go up straight away, but with toluhasslingmakingna, its weeks, months or never. They do pay up in vouchers, 60000 points is a £10 voucher for Amazon and various others, or you can fritter away 15000 on prize draws. Surveys vary a huge amount, and its easy to be screened out. I roughly get around 1000-3000 points a month. Good but you need patience!

Yougov: £50 cashout, takes -or will take me, 3 years or so, others- see above, much quicker! guess it depends how marketable you are to them at the time.

Pureprofile: I used to like these, they are a bit like onepoll, you get small amounts for surveys and can cash-out at £25. But I have been stuck on getting 5p a month for month for several months now. I think you can guess how close to cash-out I am! Should take me a few years at this rate in total to get to cash-out, I used to get around £1 to £2 a month.

Panel Base, HI points, Just-The-Answer, Opinion People, Global Opinion Panel and Clear Voice are a few of the surveys that don't seem to send surveys, may seem like "well, you win some, you lose some" but why exactly do they want my details (you have to fill in a profile) so be wary of these.

Harris have just changed their reward system, the HP Points are now converted in to currency to cash out at £25 via paypal, much better than the dogey rewards folios they used to foist on us. I'm a survey or two short of the payout and seem to be getting one a week at least currently.

I quite like HP since they changed to cash payout. Before then I had redeemed points for a torch come tool kit for the car. When they changed I already had enough points for a £25 cheque which arrived quickly.

This not quite correct as you can cash out with only 115 points for a Paypal payment of £1. I find it useful to do that as soon as I get to 115 points to use for my e-bay purchases.

I use HP, and can say i'm very pleased with them, am up to around 2000 points with them at the moment.

Also is anyone else using surveyhead, great site, i'm already up to $15.50, and only have $9 pending payment, $25 cashout level, i've only been a member for a few months, and they have daily surveys, so pretty good.

On other news today was a great day in terms of payment from surveys, i got paid for 3 different £1 surveys today from Opinion World.

I've just started using them, so far they seem ok but you'll have to let us know how they are when it comes to payouts.
