Hi there.

Does anyone happen to know what the red switch is for by the fridge light in this model of refridgerator?
There's a warning next to it advising to read instruction manual before using the red switch in ambient temperature. I don't have the manual and i am having problems locating it on the net.

Defrost button? Allows the fridge to warm up long enough in order to melt the build up of any ice?

I switched it on today but nothing happened!?!? It's bugging me though as it's probably a useful tool - if i knew what it was for!

this page says it has automatic thawing so i'd guess that its what the red button does.
