Qpark Heathrow, NEVER AGAIN !!!

I need to share a very bad experience with our MSE community, as I do not wish anything similar to happen to any of you, it was a very tough experience for my little family. That is the most dreadful and unprofessional car park facility we have ever used. We had to wait around an hour to be picked up from Heathrow airport yesterday, "getting several drivers is on the way" stories and they would promise to ring you back and never did if they had an update on the driver and time of arrival. Our 2 year old daughter had a very high temperature and we were all getting very distressed. When the driver eventually came he picked people up at the wrong stop, so there may have been people there who were amazingly waiting only a few minutes. Hubby had to argue with a few to get a seat. The driver did not accept any responsibility and when we eventually got off at the depot we were met by the most totally inept "team leader" who could have passed as Basil Fawlty, stressed to us that the car park is undermanned and not set up to cope with large volumes of customers. He did not offer any apology and if we hadn't had asked for a complaints procedure he would have happily just given us our keys and pushed us on our way despite knowing who we were and that we'd phoned several times. He came across with a non caring attitude putting a point across that it isn't really worth our while complaining and if we'd had paid for a taxi to get to the car park there is no way his company or even himself (with a scoff) would have paid us back.... nothing set up to do so. There is a total breakdown of logistics at that centre and I'm amazed that they don't lose your car as well, as they have no idea where their drivers are. AVOID THIS CAR PARK IF YOU CAN !!!!! BE WARNED !!!!! For us, it is a big "never again".

They are just as bad at Manchester. P*ss poor service. Took them over an hour to pick us up from Arrivals last time we used them, from the time I called them to the time the bus arrived. Something to do with a shift change, yet the car park is only 5 minutes from the terminal....

Never again.

They are hopeless.

If you are parking at Heathrow for any length of time consider one way car rental as an alternative. I do this all the time for trips longer than 5 days as that's the break-even point on costs for me - even having the rental car dropped off and collected from my house.

hmm... i've used them in the past at heathrow and at manchester with no real problems. it took a while to be picked up but nothing too bad....... not sure if i was just lucky or if the OP was just unlucky!
