Motorcycle - Which 2 stroke fully synthetic oil ?

Options
I have a 2 stroke 125 CC motorcycle and have been advised allways to buy fully Synthetic 2 stroke oil.

This retails at approx £10 a litre which is considerably more expensive than the Mineral oil ( About £3 a litre & the Semi Synthetic about £6 ) a litre.

Question - Is it really worth using the Synthetic oil as opposed to the other 2 stroke oils & if so where is the best place ( the best cost ) to buy fully synthetic 2 stroke oil. ( and which is the best brand to buy? )

  • try millers oils in Brighouse, west yorkshire they can do a lot better on price than that, you may have to buy in 5 litre bottles though if you can afford fully schn go for it, otherwise semi schn is ok do NOT buy mineral based, only good for lawnmowers and chainsaws
