What to do with old VHS

Hi,
I've got a load of old VHS videos at home, and absolutely no use for them anymore thanks to DVDs and Sky+.
Taking a look on eBay it doesn't seem worth my while selling them, as only really quirky, obscure films seem to sell, whilst the generic Hollywood film gets no bids
Anyone have any idea what I can do with them? Am not massively fussed about getting money for them, but sure there's a better home than the dustbin!
And on that note, I've also got about 50/60 films recorded off TV from the last 10 years that I need to get rid of. Can I chuck them in the bin, or is there a way to recycle them?
Cheers

take videos to your local blockbuster - you'll get a pittance for them but you can get the amount put on your rental card as credit."Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." (Mark Twain)0

Check Amazon. A friend of mine in the USA has been going down to the video shop daily and buying up all the old VHS tapes for about a $1. He says there are lots of films that are collectable as they are not yet or never will be on DVD, so the only way of getting the movie is to find one used on Amazon. You never know you may have a rare one?? Other than that, give em to charity.NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
