I have a Sony Viao pc bought about two years ago.
my wife needs to connect her laptop to our broadband to allow her to work faster.
I am assuming a wireless network is the solution but i am not sure if our pc just needs a wireless router or a router and a dongle or even if it is able to support wireless.
we are currently using a BT voyager 210 ADSL router on the pc.
what should i be checking to find out?

A Sony Vaio bought a couple of years ago will almost certainly be have a wireless adaptor built in, so there shouldn't be any need to buy anything else.
What model is it, exactly?0 -
hi
its a PCV-RS502:beer:0 -
Hang on, I've misunderstood you, I think.
A Vaio desktop PC will need either a USB dongle/adaptor or an internally fitted card. The USB adaptor is the easiest route, and an adaptor will cost about £15 or so. Unless your PC is close enough to the router to connect via an ethernet cable, of course.
I thought the Sony Vaio was the laptop.0
