Have you removed them and reseated them?
Unfortunately Dell only warranty their batteries for 1 year anyway.
You could try a BIOS update, but I don't think that would solve the problem.A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
I take it, it's not one of the batteries involved in their recall programme?

haven't taken them out, and as far as the warranty i'm not too concerned they are part of a school program supplying the pupils with laptops which take 3 yr to pay for and they are also under warranty for everything including battery:j but as it's coming up to summer hols it might be a little more hassle trying to get them to fix it0 -

I think you might come unstuck with the warranty on the battery. I thought we too had a 5 year warranty on our laptops, but when I logged a call with them, found the battery is excluded!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
