Barcelona Hotels?????

holiday inn express hiexpress.co.uk/wrappedup - quote wrapped up are doing family rooms (allows 2 children in room up to age 18) including breakfast for £40 a night - must be booked 3 days in advance. I have no idea where in Barcelona it is but should tell you on website. I spent 2 weeks in a florida one and it had all what you needed. Worth a try.

Did a similar cheapie a few years back. Stayed at the Hotel Rey Don Jaime I. Not to be confused with the Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime. It is a small hotel, basic but very clean and in an excellent location, minutes from the Ramblas and seafront.

Very good value at 55Euros for a double room. The ones overlooking the street have small pretty balconies but the road is noisy. If you want a quieter one, without the view of the road, ask for one at the back.
