I've been paying £7/£8 a week for my electric on quarterly payment agreement
Yes i know i should change
, i just get confused
and i am a bit of a stressed numpty at the minute:o
Thats works out around £33 per month, or £99 a quarterly bill:rolleyes:
last bill was for £64.14 (not had a washer for 2 months and no tumble drier)
Ends up i'm £36.71 in credit for this year so far:o
They in there infinate wisdom and amazing !!!!!! calculations have upped the payments to £12 a week
That works out at £52 per month or £156 a quarterly bill:eek:
making themselves extra intrest on £17 a month, that i can't afford
and they are not getting:mad:
I think that is why i don't fancy the direct debit type billing,
Can you change it from Direct Debit to Standing order?

a part on the Bill "how we calculated your payment"
Estimated usage for next 18 months = £446
Divede By 35 = £11.54
new payment rounded = £12.00
Where has the number 35 come from
In 18 months there are 78 weeks
Going by that there is 78 weeks in 18 months
that works out at
78 x £11.54 = £900.12
78 x £12.00 = £936.00
a bit of a differencePROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869Numpty,Not sure why but I'm crying. Of all the peeps on this board you're the kindest & most supportive of all & I'm  &

Well £446 divided by 35 it doesn't equal £11.54 anyway..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

We pay by direct debit, this year we ended up £140 in credit on the lecky and £74 in credit on the gas.
Atlantic are very good at paying it back into your account though....when we were with Powergen I ended up being over £300 in credit, I phoned them up to get it back and the snotty woman said 'we can repay this at your 12 monthly review date' to which I said '8ollox you will! I want it back in my account now!' and then promptly switched supplier!

Ok Z:o
I know just wondering where the 35 came from
Estimated usage for next 18 months = £446
Account balance brought forward = £36.71 credit
Less payment due on 20/06/08 = £6.00 credit
Total = £404.09
Divide by 35 = £11.54
New payment amount (rounded) = £12.00
that better:beer:PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869Numpty,Not sure why but I'm crying. Of all the peeps on this board you're the kindest & most supportive of all & I'm  &
