Happy Birthday Dogrose :bdaycake: (((Hugs))) to you - spending the day at the Police station.
Happy First or Second Anniversary, Mr and Mrs Kyle!
Well, thank you AOL - making me think I was doing something wrong. I wish they'd either warn us before they start faffing around with it or apologise afterwards!
Anyway, I have had a leisurely shower and I'm wandering around talking to myself and making the 'to-do list while DH is away' even longer. Now I don't think two weeks is going to be long enough! I hope he isn't too hungover this morning - he has to help someone pack a removal truck then drive at least 7 hours down to the south of France! Still, he has air-conditioning in the car and company and they'll stop two or three times on the way and have a lovely pool to dip into when they get there. I know they'll work hard all week laying a patio around a fairly big swimming pool but at least they can jump in when they want! DH has a list of things to bring back - I love the French hand soap; nothing over here matches it. He also has orders to bring back some more wine and a couple of crates of the little bottles of beer, some bread flour, Bon Maman jam which is so much cheaper over there, and he has to look in L'eclerc supermarket because they sometimes have wool bargains. Somehow, I think he'll pretend to forget that one!
Anyway, I'm 'mioliering' again and I'm starving so off to have some brekkie. See you all later.

Hi folks
It's been a very long time since I popped my head up over the daily thread fence but hugs to all those who need them
OS plans today are to hang the white wash out in the garden when it's finished and I shall also have to make sure that the small person has some badly ironed:D school uniform for tomorrow. This morning I shall pop out to get the News of the World to get my £5 Mr T voucher and then do a double batch of lemon drizzle cakes as that is what OH has chosen for this year's hm birthday cake [it's on Friday and lucky devil gets to spend it at the school summer fete. Woo hoo:j]
Very simple tea of reduced bagels and value salmon trimmings and cream cheese with home grown lettuce and other bought salad bits. Won't feel like cooking when I get back as we're off to see Prince Caspian.
Hope it's sunny where you are folks.....I must now go and get started on some of these os things rather than just talk about them!!

Morning all, it's a beautiful sunny Sussex day today!
I've not been around much as I've been so busy. Lost a close friend a month ago, went to Paris, weekend camp... the list goes on!
Happy wedding anniversary to Mr and Mrs Kyle
Have a fab day!
Visiting Mum in hospital today, she had her recon. on Friday.
Had a good day in Brighton yesterday, had a Benefit session in Debenhams and have a list of things to treat myself to when I finally have some money. I might do a week or so's temping in the summer hols-just debating whether it'll be worth it or not.... hm....! I guess any money is money, huh? I'll get bored if I don't have at least a week I think. Got some nice bits in Primark, thought I'd treat myself and I got OH some bits too. Need to get a new tyre today, hopefully they'll have a budget one as I can't afford anything else!
Just ordered a Pigsback voucher for one of our meals for our holiday, not far off another too. We are trying to get as much free as possible at the moment.
Right, going to finish off my cuppa and get some competitions done!
Have a peaceful Sunday everyone. Hugs to those who need/want.

Morning all
The line is full of washing & the WM is on with the next load, the garden is watered & hubby has had cooked breakfast, I had museli.
Hubby & BIL will have to feed themselves today as I am still aiming to go to DD's, I must make the sarnies soon.
BIL was very upset last night, he finally went to bed around midnight, I took his & my car keys to bed with me, so if the ex phoned him he couldn't drive as he'd been drinking. Unfortunately I rarely drink, so I have little understanding of the 'I'm upset so I'll drink myself into a stupor every night for a month' attitude.
God I'm a c*w aren't I, all I want to do is scream 'Pull yourself together'.
Still I'm seeing DGS & DGD today which will be lovely, as well as the rest of my family, unfortunately my nephew has had to drop out which is a shame as I haven't seen any of my nephews or their families since my divorce, 7 or 8 years now.
Hugs to Smokey, PP, Candy,Jayward, Jannie, Poppy, Mrs Mix & special hugs to dogrose, hope it goes as well as can be expected.
Have good day.
Hugs Hester
